This delightful antique Silver Riding brooch is from the Victorian era, Circa 1900.
Riding jewellery was popular during this time and was usually worn by women of social standing who partook in activities such as Riding or hunting and wore these pieces as a symbol of their love for the sport.
The brooch features a Silver horseshoe set with red Ruby-like Paste Stones, a riding helmet set with glass Turquoise stones and a riding crop attached to two droppers which are in the shape of stirrups.
This is a highly collectable brooch and a perfect piece for any riding enthusiast.
